“Jack has worked in the Global Procurement Data Management & Reporting team for 2 years now. He has always done an excellent job and is very highly regarded by our key customers (see feedback gathered below). He has helped raise the profile of Procurement very positively outside of our team.

In the past year he has stepped up and taken responsibility for working with CIO to manage the design, build, test and deployment of our new reporting database and front end. This new solution will put data more directly into the hands of our customers as well as help minimise risk of losing our data and deliver operational cost savings. The new solution was rolled out in September meaning a lot of hard work to close out remaining issues and complete final testing.

This was a really steep learning curve for Jack and he impressed me with his ability to take on a new area and master it. He also had to manage one of our UK Analysts and did a great job of training and developing him. I came to trust Jack’s judgment as did our CIO teams in Madrid and Manila. Historically they have always been more comfortable “double-checking” with me when other people have been acting in a similar role. The level of confidence and trust they had in Jack was clear from the fact that this happened very little during this project.

I am very keen for Jack to receive this recognition and would appreciate it if you can tell me if there is more that you need from me?
